Most people do not giving sleep the importance that it deserves. Some of these people even take pride in bragging about how little sleep they get. It is the time that these people may learn how inadequate sleep increases cortisol (stress hormone) levels. Moreover, it also weakens the immune system, making you prone to various diseases and even shortening your life span.

With the passage of time, the mattresses start to sag in the middle. This will create an uneven sleep surface and makes you prone to various physical traumas like back pain or muscle aches. This is because the lumpy and saggy mattresses do not offer proper support to your spine.  Sleeping with a poor posture for the whole night can cause severe fatigue after you wake up. By sleeping regularly on a bad mattress, you expose your body to 7-8 hours of similar traumatic condition each day.

With the passage of time, the mattress collects the body oils. A single mattress can contain up to 10 million dust mites that feed on the skin and oils. A recent research as found that around 30 million people in America are allergic to dust mites. This can result in itching, sneezing, itching, runny noses, watery eyes and coughing. The dust mites can be potentially harmful for the people with asthma.

We know that purchasing the right mattress can be a bit expensive, but trust us it is worth the investment. You need to think about it.
